This is one of the most unbelievable stories of all
time, but unfortunately this story is completely
TRUE. A man from Florida was arrested for
nearly choking his wife to death because she
ate all of the left-over fried chicken. Yes, I repeat a
so-called loving husband nearly choked his wife
to death because she ate the last pieces of fried
chicken.
The man’s name is Desmond Brownlee and he is
45-years-old, he has been charged with domestic
battery by strangulation and tampering with a
witness at his home in Deltona early Monday
morning, according to a Volusia County police
report obtained by The Smoking Gun.
Police said Desmond allegedly pushed his wife,
punched her multiple times in the face, and
then wrapped his hands around her neck and
nearly choked her to death, according to the
police report.
His wife said she would have suffocated if she
didn’t punch Desmond in the face and escape,
the police report also stated. His wife
immediately called 911, but Desmond snatched
the phone and said he wasn’t going to allow
her to get the police involved, according to the
police report.
When the police officers showed up at the
Brownlee’s home, Desmond Brownlee tried to
secretly tell the victim ( his wife), “Shhh, what do
you want, us both to go to jail?” The argument
started to become physical after Desmond
became angered that most of the fried chicken
was gone and also over the care of his wife’s
mother.
The couple has a young daughter and has been
married for over four years, and their daughter
was in her room sleep when the incident took
place. Desmond Brownlee was thrown in Volusia
County Jail Monday, but is no longer inside,
according to the jail.
