You'll always wonder why Chinese Names Seem Strange And How They Name Themselves. I asked my Dad who's travelled to China and He said that "Chinese People Are Named By The Sound Made By Breaking Ceramic Plates" . Of course this sounds strange but after making some in depth research it's actually true.
Chinese people are named by throwing a
coin in a jar, or hitting metal against metal.
Whatever sound(s) are made, is the name.
For example: Chink, Pow, Twang, Tang,
Ding, Smack, etc. If two sounds are made,
it could be something like Pow-Wang, or
Chinky-Dinky. If it cant be made in one of
these ways, the name is not Chinese. The
child is most likely Japanese and should be
given away for adoption.
